Lineage 1000 Awarded Hot and High Approval

The Embraer Lineage 1000 was recently awarded hot-and-high approval, which adds to an expanding list of operational capabilities. The high altitude tests were completed in February and include both takeoff and landing operational tests.

The new certification allows operations at airports as high as La Paz, Bolivia, where elevation is 13,357 feet msl and temperatures in January can reach 110 degrees F. This new performance capability will be offered as an option for Brazilian and U.S. customers.

The Lineage 1000 is the largest business jet that can operate at Teterboro Airport. It is also one of the largest jet charters that can operate in and out of Aspen-Pitkin Airport in Aspen, Colorado.
