Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas was damaged by high winds this past Sunday evening. Aircraft were tossed by winds that were clocked at 80mph during the storm. One aircraft could be seen completely flipped over. Some of the sheet metal on the sides of the hangars and the roofs were torn away by the high winds. Hangar 24 seemed to have born the brunt of the damage.
The roof of another hanger collapsed on almost a dozen planes and gusts also damaged a nearby hanger housing helicopters. One man had both an old 1965 Russian fighter jet damaged and his boat that was docked 10 miles away damaged as well.
